Hello everyone,
I have been in contact with Laser regarding the website and I have voluntered to take over the control of it. I have tried to contact the association sec. during this process, but have had no reply yet.

So..... if you are a member, have an idea as to what you want, please let me know, TWO things to remember -A. I have never done this before -B. I am looking for things to put in there, so photo's, events, stories, trips, please let me know.

If someone has an objection to me doing this, let me know as well, I was just a little bored of the site and felt I could contribute - so you can too!

Regards
Dave - 269- centreboard-cornwall

Hi Dave,

Great initiative! I'm familiar with web authoring so if the need any help in putting together the web pages please don't hesitate to ask.

With regards to the contents, I think it would be useful to have the following topics that could be gradually filled with contributions from members:

1. Clubs

List of clubs with Stratos owners and race opportunities

2. Racing

Results for Stratos class races

2. Rigging Tips

That may look silly but I've just bought a Stratos Keel (not sailed her yet) and I find that the rigging manual is not very clear. More detailed instructions supported by pictures would be useful to beginners. Alister Beveridge who has recently posted pictures in this forum would probably have a lot to contribute! (alister@beveridge.co.uk)

3. Tuning Tips

Same thing for the more experienced and advanced sailors: what rigging adjustments you can do to tune your Stratos, in what wind and sea conditions you would to it and the effect on performance. Again detailed instructions supported by pictures.

4. Cruising Tips

Would do you take on board your Stratos to wander about, etc.

5. Cruising Places

Stories of nice trips with pictures. Gathering events, etc.

Some of this is already on the menu, so let's add a bit more and get the contributions flowing!

Regards,
Pascal

I have now heard from Laser, they are making a large change to their web provider status, and I will take over once that has been achieved in 3-4 weeks.
