 Windex Recommendation?		  Forum Locked

I'd like to fit a windex to our Stratos. Has anyone else fitted one/had issues/can recommend a particular type?

I have a hawk wind-indicator the one designed for boats up to 26ft in length and to be honest, although I have only put it on, I have sailed without one for 2 years. I would recommend a smaller one particularly if you are like me and forget these things and I will probably break it in shortly due to dropping the mast regularly for trailer sailing.

They aren't cheap either - but the manufacturer is good.

I use a scruffy piece of wool tied to each of the upper shrouds. Not quite the same as a windex but it is cheap and it won't break.
