Thanks to Sophie for organising the weekend. We learnt alot and it was great to meet other Stratos owners. Thanks to Jon, Duncan & Tom for all the advice & tips, we hope to put it all in practice in the Lakes. Congrats to Jim & Trevor, without whose advice we would still be getting back to shore after the final race!! Despite the light(very light)winds we had a great time and look forward to meeting you all again at some point (when babysitters allow) It was good to see the support from Laser, Paul James:thanks for being really helpful as always. Yes I'd like to add my thanks to Sophie, Duncan and Tom and everybody else who gave willingly of their time and advice to get me and my brother back on the water after a few years off. Hopefully our boat will come back from Laser with any leaks repaired so we can take part in future events.
Glad to hear everyone had a good time. Just sorry to have missed it. Is there any chance of some of you putting some of the things you learned and your own impressions down on paper or email and sending them to Pascal so he can put them on the website. Even adding them to this board would be helpful to the rest of us who couldn't attend. Also if anyone took any pictures perhaps they caould be emailed to pascal for addition to the gallery.
