Further to previous questions about boom fitting, here's a small tip: use an R-pin instead of a clevis pin on your gooseneck fitting and you will be surprised to see how easy fitting the boom becomes! The same applies to the rudder.
Another tip: there was a thread some time ago about the difficulty to get the mainsail all the way up. Just fit a parrel bead at the end of the mainsail halyard. You can then tie it to the top of the mainsail by threading a loop through the eye and catching it with the bead. That way the knot is lower that the top of the sail and you can gain a few inches.
