Sorry, price was supposed to be £1950 o.n.o. - as per ebay entry
Laser Stratos centreboard for sale, sail number 150. Good condition for age. Blue hull. Includes launching and road trailers, cover. £1950 o.n.o. Location Exmouth, Devon.
Has the following problems only:
Spinnaker has been repaired with proper spinnaker tape
Top of luff rope where it threads into slot in mast needs repair but still usable.
Gasket which stops water splashing up through c/b case needs replacement. Doesn't affect sailing performance.
Blue hull was somewhat sun-faded but a rub-down with silicone grease restores this for the season.
A few scuffs and nicks on hull.
A fantastic sturdy boat which has given me a huge amount of fun in the 10 years I've owned it. One owner prior to that (fellow club member). Often take it along the coast from Exmouth in force 4, with seas to match. Copes easily. It will do everything a much newer one will do at a fraction of the cost.
Sale due to young children and consequent lack of use.
