Bonjour,
I just purchase a Laser stratos keel and i will sail on the Lac Léman around Evian, France.
The Spinaker is old and i will soon need to replace it, if you have an opportunity, i would be pleased to know it. i can either transfer by bank or pay with paypal.
also looking for a sail protection in order to leave the main sail on the mast with a cover against sun and rain ( i dont know the english name for it )....
please advise or comment

Hi Nicolas,
To cover your main sail, I suggest you ask a local sailmaker to make you a canvas sail cover similar to the ones they have on big yachts. You just need to give him the length of the boom. I am sure he will know what to do. I had one made up with elastic (bungee) and hooks. It takes a few seconds to put on.
I don't know if anybody has a second hand genniker they want to sell you, and I don't know who in France/Switzerland is supplying Laser Stratos spares. A British company, www.sailboats.co.uk is listing "genuine" Laser Stratos spares and will sell you a new genniker for £479, which is a lot for a such simple sail. You will see from other conversations on this forum that thought is being given to finding a new sailmaker as it not longer seems essential to have "official" Laser Stratos spares. I suggest you ask a local sailmaker to copy your existing genniker: it will probably be cheaper.

Welcome to the Stratos world! i had a new gennaker made last year by Batt sails and can confirm it is an excellent sail. better quality than the Laser ones and cheaper. if you phone Dick Batt on +44 1243 575505 i am sure he would quote you for a new one. His website is; http://www.battsails.com/
he has the measurements on file
