I am trying to get an idea of the number of boats likely to attend the Stratos Open on the 24th July at South Cerney (Cotswold Water Park). Saturday will be a dedicated Stratos only event and on Sunday the racing will form part of the club's handicap racing. This will also be a great opportunity to use the brand new club house and facilities. Please let me know if I can supply further information.

We hope to put in an appearance. That is assuming we have sorted out the little matter of our bent and twisted stick and the damged gennaker which we sustained last weekend at the nationals! I have to say we learned a great deal about sailing in higher winds and also that the Solent is NOT VERY DEEP on its Northern side. In spite of our lowly result we had a ball and now want more places to GO FAST in!
I am almost glad I missed the event. I think it might have been too much for me. As it was I sailed at my club and that was windy enough. Hope you manage to get all repaired and I hope to see you on the 24th July.
I can't make the Sunday as I'm visiting my wifes sister in Marlborough. A combined weekend of pleasure and duty! But don't change the event to suit me, I will be very pleased for the opportunity just to race against others.
