Anyone ever sailed a boat with GNAV (over-boom kicker)rather than a traditional kicker? I think it would make our (already) great boat even better. I frequntly take out groups of people for training or a joyride and whilst it is not normally a problem, there is always the odd one that gets strangled mid-tack!!

I don't see it as having a performance advantage, so is it worth considering as a modification?

I amassuming of course that the existing spars will take the modification.

Hi martin
when I downloaded the manual , my heart lifted when I saw the gnav refered to.
Laser 3000s are doing trials , as soon as any rea available for the stratos I'll make sure our club boats get them ( even though i haven't strung any passengers up with it yet ;-) )
